AN EAST Dorset teenager has beaten hundreds of talented bands and artists to make it through to the regional final of a national music competition.
Breanne Webb, 14, of Lake Road in Verwood, wowed the judging panel of Live and Unsigned to make it through to the next heat and perform live in front of hundreds of spectators.
The QE pupil, right, will travel to Portsmouth on April 22 for the regional final showcase to fight for her place in the grand final at Live Fest at the O2 in London.
Live and Unsigned is the biggest original music competition in the UK for unsigned bands and artists.
The main prizes in the competition include £10,000 to be spent on development, a £10,000 publicity investment, a UK tour and a chance to perform at some of the country’s top festivals.
Breanne reached the finals of Talent Call at the Pavilion last year.
Her mum Debbie Jones said: “She may only be 14 but she’s done really well.
“I know I am her mother but she is really good.”
