MANY petrol stations were closed on Saturday morning after two days of panic-buying.

Stations closed on Saturday morning included: Tesco at Poole Road, Branksome; Texaco at the Bridges, Ringwood; Churchill service station, Bournemouth Road, Parkstone; Esso, Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth; Esso in Barrack Road, Christchurch; Merco, Southbourne; Esso in Bath Hill, Bournemouth; and BP at Wallisdown.
Sainsbury's at Alder Hills was open but with big queues, while Texaco in Charminster Road was open but expected to close by 5pm. Also open were: Shell in Barrack Road; Tesco in Castle Lane, Bournemouth; Tesco in Tower Park, Poole; Windmill service station in Ringwood.
