Boscombe’s bid for Mary Portas money from the Government now has a video.
The steering group has uploaded the four-minute hymn to the area’s potential to YouTube.
The Government is looking for 12 areas to share £1million for town centre regeneration.
Caroline Read, owner of The Tattoo Parlour Cafe, says: “We want to create an experience on the high street where people come and it’s part of their plan to have fun.”
Mark Cribb, owner of Urban Reef restaurant and Urban Beach hotel, is interviewed and says: “The potential for Boscombe is immense, I really don’t understand how we are in this position in the first place.
“We have go the same sand and the same sea as Sandbanks which is just a couple of miles away and it has some of the most expensive real estate areas in the world.”
Other supporters interviewed include cabinet member for regeneration Cllr Jane Kelly, and Cllr John Beesley, leader of Bournemouth Council.
Bids must be submitted by today.
