CORFE Hills School has appointed a new headteacher.
Gary Clark, currently deputy head at Christchurch’s Twynham School, will take on the role in September.
Mr Clark who has a degree in chemistry from the University of Exeter, trained as a teacher in 1988.
He has worked in schools in Wiltshire, Devon, Hampshire and Dorset, and moved to the county with his family since 1996.
Corfe Hills’ chair of governors Bob Milne said: “We have every confidence that he will build on the past and current successes of our school leading it to even greater things.”
Present head Alan Hinchcliffe will leave this summer.
