A road safety operation was delivered in Purbeck as part of a campaign to reduce the number of road casualties.
Special constables carried out the safety operation as a direct result of concerns from the local community, and in order to raise the profile of road safety.
Officers stationed around Upton, Wareham and Swanage targeted motorists who were putting themselves and others at risk by drink driving, speeding, not wearing a seatbelt or using their mobile phone when behind the wheel.
The operation resulted in a number of offences being identified, with 34 Fixed Penalty Notices being handed out to drivers who were breaching traffic laws.
