CHILDREN enjoyed free music lessons on ‘Learn to Play Day;’ Absolutemusic on Ringwood Road in Bournemouth opened its doors to mark the national campaign.
More than 300 people tried the guitar, drums, ukulele, brass instruments and many more.
Cheikh Diop of Afric’ Arts offering African drumming workshops upstairs. Mayor Cllr Chris Rochester Mayoress Val Rochester opened the event, held in a new studio and rehearsal complex.
Alan Barclay, managing director of absolutemusic, said: “All our staff and the tutors have a huge passion for music and to be able to share that passion was a privilege.”
