IT'S a cliche as old as the hills - if it's a bank holiday, the sun goes into hibernation.
And the weather has certainly taken a turn for the chilly today after the unseasonable warmth of the last couple of weeks.
But will your Easter Weekend be a washout? Here's our round up of what the forecasters say...*
First, our own forecast, which predicts sunshine with highs of 13 degrees tomorrow. Saturday and Sunday will be overcast but dry and mild before the rain moves in on Monday.
Over at weather.co.uk, they're less optimistic, predicting a dry Friday, but a 30 per cent chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday. They agree that Monday will be rainy.
The Met Office is predicting a dry and sunny Friday, a dry Saturday, with some rain on Sunday before the downpours start in earnest on Monday.
And the BBC is predicting a dry Friday and Saturday, a mainly dry Sunday and a rainy Monday.
Our advice? Don't plan any outdoor events for Monday. You can see what's happening over the weekend in our events round up.
