VEETACORE may be a new band, but the Bournemouth three piece is one to watch, with their female vocalist, punky riffs and full on rock energy.
The band has just released a second EP, called The Settling.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the music we’ve recorded, it took us a while to find our feet as a band but now we’ve found focus, and these new songs are an expression of where we are going, rather than where we’ve been,” says frontwoman Becky Rewse.
Both in terms of musicality and lyrics, The Settling is a stellar stride forward for Veetacore.
On track 14 & 3/8, Becky sings from the heart about the excitement and rush of a new relationship.
“I have seen the way you look at me but I don’t mind/cos I think I understand the way you feel, I feel it too.”
The band is now touring throughout the year, but don’t be surprised to see a few overseas dates on the gig listings.
