POLICE, students and residents staged a community litter pick around the Winton area in Bournemouth.
Around 20 people took part in clearing up Pine Park, Calvin Road, Strouden Road and more.
Toby Horner, president of the students’ union at Bournemouth University, pitched in to the litter pick, as did Bournemouth Council Neighbourhood warden Amanda Catlin.
PC Gareth Bridger, the beat bobby for the area, of Winton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “It was organised jointly by us and the university.
“Litter had been reported by local residents in the area so we decided to do a community pick and it went very well.
“We may organise another one too.”
