ADAM Murry will run the first of his seven marathons this month in memory of the late mother of former Cherries heroes Eddie Howe and Steve Lovell.

Adam will run his first challenge in Paris on April 15 in Annie’s name for Dreams Come True – a charity which enables terminally and seriously ill children to go on dream holidays or receive dream experiences.

Adam said: “Eddie and Steve were very close to their mum and asked me whether I could do something in her name.

She loved children and dedicated her life to her family and children so I said I would run the Paris mara-thon on behalf of their mum and in her memory for the children’s charity Dreams Come True.

“We want to give something tangible to the charity, something that lives on in a child’s life so we can continue her name.”

Steve, 31, who is engaged to pop singer Amy Mac-Donald and played with AFC Bournemouth from 1998-99 and 2010-11, said: “Mum always had a soft spot for Adam and the opportunities he gave Eddie and me at AFCB.

“She would have been over the moon to see Adam do this challenge and it’s a shame she can’t be here to watch and encourage him.”

Adam’s challenge is to run seven marathons in seven days in seven different countries.

The Paris marathon will be followed by six further runs in Switzerland, Italy, Aus-tria, Germany, Belgium and finally London.

As well as Dreams Come true, the charities Adam will run for are Julia’s House, Bliss, Ebony Robinson Foundation, G4G, debra, John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation and Hillside Animal Sanctuary.

So far, Adam has raised £30,000. To sponsor him visit 777challenge.com
