FAMILIES and youngsters enjoyed a day of Easter fun in Boscombe on Saturday.
The Friends of Boscombe Chine Gardens held its 10th annual fun day event throughout the day with attractions including a nature trail quiz with a free Easter egg for all taking part, a PDSA Scruffs dog show, as well as Jamie Jigsaw the children’s entertainer and more.
Music was provided by Swing Unlimited 2 and a Frank Sinatra tribute act, Anthony Adams with Zorbing balls also proving a huge attraction for the visitors.
The event was opened by the Mayor of Bournemouth, Cllr Chris Rochester.
Graham Taylor, chairman of the Friends said: “We’ve had an excellent family day.
“There was a lot for people to do, face painting for the children and story telling as well as Phoenix dance troupe, who were fantastic.
“It has been very busy.
“Considering last year this event was later in the month and the weather was amazing, the turnout has matched and maybe beaten that.”
