TUCKTON Bridge will be closed for four days from today.
The bridge, which was fully open over the Easter weekend, is closed to allow work to replace the road surface and both approaches to the bridge.
One footway will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
Ian Kalra, transportation services manager at Bournemouth Council, said: “A full closure of the bridge is required for a period of four days to replace the road surfacing on the bridge.
“However, this has been programmed to take place during the school holiday period when the impact on traffic and in particular school buses will be reduced.”
