CROWDS flocked to Ellingham and Ringwood’s Raymond Brown Memorial Ground at the weekend to enjoy the tenth annual Festival of Rugby and Real Ale.
Over 30 teams competed for various touch rugby trophies – while supporters enjoyed the 30 real ales and 30 different ciders on offer.
The event is now the second largest annual gathering in Ringwood and has become part and parcel of the annual calendar.
The touch rugby teams came from as far afield as Wales and Worcester.
Club chairman, Peter Pearce, said: “It’s events like this that make us such a special rugby club.
“We had over 50 volunteers help put the day on and it was a great spectacle for the town.”
