LOCAL rockers States of Matter are ready for take-off with a new album due to be released on May 1. The band has also recorded a music video this year at Bristol Filton Airport on the runway for the forthcoming song Skyline.
Formed in October last year, the band consists of five members: George Holloway (Vocals), Harrison Perks (Lead Guitar), Richard Couchman (Rhythm Guitar), Iain Sheppard (Bass) and Lloydi Gee Pearson (Drums).
Musical influences range from Bon Jovi, The Beatles, Kids In Glass Houses, Ray Charles and Michael Jackson. You can catch the guys at the very first Bandwave event tonight at the New Milton Memorial Centre.
Next month sees them frequent 02 Academy Bournemouth for a one off acoustic set at the Bandalism event. Firmly on cruise control, States of Matter let fly with new album The Scheme of Things on May 1.
