TRAVELLERS who had set up temporary home in a Bournemouth town centre car park left yesterday.
Five vehicles left Terrace Mount car park after around half a dozen arrived at the King’s Park car, coach and lorry park on Sunday afternoon.
A Bournemouth council spokesman said the Terrace Mount car park had been secured following the installation of a height barrier to reduce the possibility of any further illegal encampments.
The council is currently liaising with the group at King’s Park and asking them to move before it becomes necessary to seek an eviction order.
