SCOOTER riders took to the road to raise cash for Julia’s House children’s hospice.
Around 50 members of the Renegades Scooter Club started at Velocity’s Scooter Shop in Moordown on Sunday before heading through Poole, over the old Poole bridge and then the new Twin Sails bridge, before carrying on to the Fighter Pilot pub at Canford Heath.
At the pub there was a raffle and other events to try and drum up some cash, which is still being counted.
Albert Critchley, from the club, said: “We do a lot of ride-outs for charity and I thought I would suggest doing it for Julia’s House.
“It was a nice day and the weather was good, it was brilliant.”
