LEGAL argument has delayed the opening of the trial into the alleged murder of student and aspiring model Emily Longley.
A jury will now be sworn in tomorrow morning and the trial is expected to last for at least four weeks.
Emily, 17, was found dead at the Bournemouth home of her former boyfriend Elliot Turner on May 7 last year.
Turner, 20, of Queenswood Avenue, Queens Park, is charged with her murder. He also faces a charge of intent to pervert the course of justice between May 6 and July 21 last year.
His parents, Leigh, 53, and Anita, 50, of the same address, are also charged with intent to pervert the course of justice , namely that they failed to telephone the emergency services, removed evidence and destroyed evidence in the case of Elliot Turner, accused of murdering Emily Longley.
All three deny the charges against them.
