A WOMAN bitten by a false widow spider wants to find the owner of a mobile phone she found on a rare evening out of hospital.
Catherine Coombs, from Lytchett Matravers, was allow- ed out to see The Four Tops and the Temptations at the BIC on Saturday, March 24.
When she and her husband returned to Poole Hospital, where she was being treated for an infected wound on her hand, they found an iPhone in her handbag.
Catherine, 48, thinks someone must have put it in there thinking it was their bag.
“I would have thought the owner would have contacted the BIC,” Catherine, who was sitting in the terraces for the gig, said.
“But we’ve rung them every day and they’ve had no takers for it.”
The phone has a security code so she cannot access the owner’s numbers to contact them, but can see a photo of them.
Anyone who lost a phone at the gig, or who knows the owner, should call the Daily Echo on 01202 411296.
