The 11 men and one woman have now been sent home from Winchester Crown Court and asked to return for the opening of the prosecution case on Monday April 23.
Elliot Turner, 20, is accused of murdering the 17-year-old Brockenhurst College student on May 7 last year and of intent to pervert the course of justice between May 6 and July 21.
Miss Longley's body was found at the home Turner, her former boyfriend, shares with his parents in Queenswood Avenue, Queens Park, Bournemouth.
Parents Leigh, 53, and Anita, 50, are charged with intent to pervert the course of justice. All three deny the charges against them.
