BOURNEMOUTH beach will host its first wedding next Friday, April 27, with the seafront ceremony broadcast live to millions of viewers.
An exclusive Bournemouth beach hut wedding with all the trimmings is the prize in a competition run by ITV1's Daybreak show.
Hundreds of couples entered the contest and these have been whittled down to just three finalists. The winner will be selected by the public and announced live on Daybreak on Friday.
The lucky couple will then be filmed on location in Bournemouth next Monday, returning on Thursday to stay at the Highcliff Marriott Hotel before the big day.
Their wedding package will include a bridal gown, bouquet, wedding beach hut, hand-crafted wedding cake, champagne and canapés at marquee on the beach, gourmet reception at the Highcliff Marriott Hotel and overnight accommodation for up to 30 guests.
Daybreak presenters Michael Underwood and wife Angellica Bell will relay the ceremony live to views, starting just before 7am with the wedding due to take place soon after 8am.
