A POOLE council worker was taken to hospital with a broken arm and broken leg and pelvic pains after being in collision with a tipper lorry.
The incident took place inside Borough of Poole’s depot in Hatch Pond Road at lunchtime yesterday.
The 45-year-old Poole man was riding a bicycle when the accident took place involving a yellow Daf highways vehicle.
Dorset Police were called by the ambulance service who took the injured worker to Poole Hospital for treatment. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed of the incident.
The incident took place at the transportation depot.
