A FUN day will take place at Mudeford Wood Community Centre on Saturday, April 28 to celebrate the centre’s takeover by a group of residents.

The theme for the event will be Pirates and Princesses and youngsters are encouraged to come along in fancy dress.

It will be held from 10am-4pm.

There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting, a bake-off competition judged by local chefs as well as a children’s entertainer and other stalls.

Users will be entertaining visitors with belly dancing and other displays.

On April 1, members of the Mudeford Wood Community Trust took over the day to day running of the centre.
