PARENT and former pupil Katie Reed: “I had such happy memories that I really wanted to send my children here too and have the full experience from Reception as I didn’t join until Year 3 so I always felt a bit cheated!”
PARENT Jill Moore: “It is a very traditional school with very high educational standards and a good standard of discipline within a very happy, secure environment. My children have really flourished since they have been here.”
TEACHER Gail Kelleher: “It is a very close community here and I believe if a child is happy that helps to promote better learning. The children are certainly happy and well motivated to learn here.”
PUPIL Abigail Scott, aged nine, told the Daily Echo: “I like the teachers here because if you get stuck they always have time to help you.”
YEAR 6 PUPIL Tom Foster, 11, said: “I joined in Year 3 and settled in very quickly because everyone is so friendly. I think you get a very good education here because most pupils pass the grammar school test.”
