CYCLISTS wanting to use pedal power to boost the coffers of a worthy causes are being urged to sign up for this year’s Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride on Saturday.
Ride organisers are holding a special Sign Up Saturday from 9am until 3pm at Primera Sport on Charminster Road, which sponsors the major fund-raising event. The ride, which attracts around 800 cyclists and raises more than £80,000 for charity, will take place on Sunday, July 1.
Everyone entering the Daily Echo-backed event at Primera will receive a free Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride water bottle.
Saturday is the ideal opportunity to come along and meet the organising team. You will be able to ask questions and find out more about the ride which has a range of distances from 10 to 100 miles, starting from Corfe Mullen recreation ground.
