ELLIOT Turner told a pal of Emily Longley he started getting ready for work after waking to find her “cold and grey” the day she died, a trial heard.
Witness Carla Simons says Elliot talked quickly and paced up and down when she asked him about her friend’s death.
The court had previously heard how they had gone to bed at Turner’s family home after drinking the night before.
Carla, 18, said: “He said he went to grab her arm and she was cold and grey.”
She added: “He said he presumed that she had just passed out. Then he realised that was not normal so then he started to shake her to try to wake her up.”
He gave the account when they bumped into each other outside a Bournemouth jewellery shop where he worked.
The court also heard how aspiring model Emily and Turner, a former Uplands pupil, argued about what she wore and him looking through her phone and Facebook account.
Elliot denies murder. He and his parents, Leigh and Anita, are also accused of intent to pervert the course of justice, a charge which they all deny.
The trial continues.
