THE score from the Harry Potter films will be part of a night of classical music and fireworks being held to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has planned an evening of music from films including James Bond as well as other classics at Meyrick Park on Monday, June 4.
The gates will be open from 6pm for visitors to set down their rugs and picnics in front of the stage before an 8pm start.
Children will be entertained with a Disney medley from films including favourites The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King.
And conductor Anthony Inglis will direct music from John Williams, Elgar and Wagner.
The orchestra will celebrate the Olympics and Britain’s maritime history as well as playing songs from the Last Night of the Proms before the firework finale accompanies their performance.
Tickets cost £22 in advance and £26 on the day with concessions available.
