THE Rex cinema in Wareham hosted the director of the Woman In Black for a screening and question and answer session.
James Watkins came to the independent cinema, which is run by the Purbeck Film Charitable Trust Ltd, on Wednesday night.
David Evans, director of the committee, said: “We were all thrilled to meet James and we are most grateful to him for spending an evening with us. “It was most informative and we are delighted that we sold every seat. The atmosphere was fantastic.” The Woman In Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, has been a box office success for the revived horror studio Hammer Films.
The Rex Cinema, which is now digital, has had several Q&A events since the trust took over in 2009.
