Mini superheroes from Poole flexed their muscles for charity in a superhuman effort to raise funds.
Toddlers at a nursery had the time of their lives dressing up as their favourite characters to take part in Superheroes Day.
The fun at The Co-operative Childcare in Blandford Close was raising money for Women’s Aid, the key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children.
Wearing their favourite superhero costumes for the day, the youngsters also visited a nearby care home for the elderly, taking along fairy cakes they had made.
“This is a cause close to our hearts because of the work it does to support families and children in particular,” said nursery manager Linda Hopkins.
“It is also especially relevant because it is the International Year of the Co-operatives which is all about working together towards a better future.”
Midcounties has chosen Women’s Aid as its charity partner for the second year running and is raising money to support the work of the charity nationally and local services, which include nine refuges.
