PARIS Morgan, 10, said: “People have been telling us that when children have been walking to school that road is a bit too dangerous.

“I use it for school and also when we go to Winton Recreation Ground.”

MOLLIE Soulsby, 11, walks or scoots part or all of the way to school.

“I think it is much safer now,” she said.

“My parents were a bit worried about me crossing the busy roads before.”

NINO Chang Chao, 11, said: “My mum drives and I scoot the rest of the way to school.

“I’ve always done that but more people do now.

“Our old caretaker built us a scooter rack.”
