Eviction order sought for travellers at Branksome Chine
BOROUGH of Poole officials were due in court this morning to secure an eviction order for an illegal traveller encampment at Branksome Chine.
A number of caravans remained at the Beach Road car park yesterday.
James Norman, regulatory team manager at Borough of Poole, said: “We are seeking an eviction order from the courts and we will be serving this order on the same day.”
The travellers, who moved in two weeks ago, will have 24 hours to vacate if an eviction order is served.
