POLICE in the New Forest are appealing for help identifying two men after a deception at a Lymington bank.
They have issued CCTV images of two men after the incident at Santander in Lymington on Monday, April 30, between 12.45pm and 1.14pm.
A number of forged documents were produced in an attempt to withdraw over £4,000.
The bank staff became suspicious and called police.
Detective Sergeant Howard Broadribb said: “Staff in the bank were thankfully diligent and quick-thinking and called us immediately.
“We’d now like to hear from anyone who recognises the men in these images as they may have vital information.
“Do you work in any business where there have been similar incidents?
“Also, if you saw any vehicle in the area at the time, with these men please contact us.”
Call 101 if you have information.
