POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a knife attack outside a nightclub.
A 29-year-old man from Poole was left with superficial cuts to his stomach after he was assaulted by another man with a knife outside the Alika nightclub in Hurn House, Christchurch Road.
The victim was taken to Poole Hospital but later released.
Detective Constable Ken Todd, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an image of a man that I would like to speak with.
“I would urge the man pictured – and anyone who recognises him – to contact me, in confidence.
“I am also appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone with any information about the person responsible, to contact police as soon as possible.”
