WREATH is due to be laid at the memorial to the US Coast Guard, who conducted search and rescue operations during the Normandy invasion in the Second World War.
Vice Admiral Peter Neffenger, US Coast Guard, will attend a ceremony at the memorial on May 14, to honour veterans. Representatives from the RNLI and HM Coastguard are expected to attend the service at 11.15am.
