AN NHS boss presented certificates to a group of trainee managers who have just become the first “graduates” of a level four course in management and leadership run by Bournemouth and Poole College.

Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital chief executive Tony Spotswood congratulated the students, who have been based at the trust for a year.

He said he hoped their experiences during the placement had prepared them for the many difficult management challenges they will face.
