AN EIGHT-year-old girl has helped to name a major housing development in Wimborne.
Katie Greenough, from Colehill First School, won £20 in a contest by homes firm Charles Church South Coast on what to call the estate on the old Cobham site.
Her suggestion of Riverside helped Charles Church pick the name Waters Edge. Katie’s class wins £200 for taking part.
