FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a blaze at the Homefield School site in Winkton, near Burton, on Wednesday night.
Six appliances were in attendance.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said one of the buildings on the complex of the boarded-up derelict school was alight.
Police were also in attendance to provide traffic control.
The B3347 Salisbury Road was closed in both directions.
