YOUNG hip hop dancers created a Storm on Bournemouth beach yesterday as plans for an Olympic party were unveiled.
Members of Storm dance troupe performed back flips and busted some break-dancing moves in the sand ahead of a free show to welcome the Olympic torch on Friday, July 13.
They are among around 70 youngsters picked to perform in front of 10,000 people in a two-and-a-half-hour extravaganza of music and dance that will go out live on TV.
Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Pavilion Dance and London dance outfit Avant Garde will help them create unique routines, and Torch Relay sponsors Coca Cola, Lloyds TSB and Samsung will also lay on acts.
Tickets of up to eight per household will be available from the BIC from June 15 to residents in BH postcodes and the following day for all others.
