A CHARITY dinner raised more than £4,000 for Bob Wilson’s Willow Foundation.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper was joined by more than 100 guests at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel including fellow footballer John Hollins and Luther Blissett for the charity dinner.
A golf tournament also supposed to take place on the same day had to be cancelled due to the wet and windy weather.
Adam Terpening, Harbour Hotels director, said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone for making the effort to attend our annual charity dinner, and are delighted to have raised over £4,300 for Bob and Megs Wilson’s Willow Foundation.
“Now in its ninth year, the fundraising event continues to go from strength to strength, with our postponed golf day to take place in August.”
