A TEN-year-old girl from Poole has won a monster drawing competition against 1,300 children from across the country.
Evie Ashton, right, is a fan of Moshi Monsters, the current number one collectible trend for children aged between five and 11.
She entered a competition run by leading collectibles company, Topps, to design a new door which could be featured on the virtual, online world of Moshi Monsters.
Now, the winning door design has been created and uploaded to online homepage, Moshimonsters. com, and will be available to over 60million members of the virtual world. She also won a full set of the Mash Up cards.
Evie’s mum, Irene Ashton, says that Evie can’t believe that she’s won.
She said: “She’s a huge fan of Moshi Monsters Mash Up trading cards and loves drawing too, so it’s incredibly exciting to see her artwork being brought to life on the site and we’re really proud of her.”
Louise Ramplin, entertain-ment marketing manager at Topps, said: “A huge well-done to Evie. With so many entries, it was a tough decision before picking a winner, but her drawing was a great combination of creative flair and a sense of fun.”
