THE funeral of the young man killed in a head-on smash near Blandford earlier this month, takes place today.
Friends and family of Ben Andrews are expected to pack out Blandford’s St Peter and St Paul’s Church for the 12.30pm service, ahead of a private committal. The 19-year-old driver died after his VW golf was involved in a collision with another car on the A354, just north of Blandford’s Pimperne roundabout.
Ben’s devastated mum and dad, Paul and Sam, and his siblings Harry and Molly have asked for donations to be made to Julia’s House.
• A 19-year old Blandford man remains on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of motoring offences.
