A FERNDOWN teenager’s snaps of a cat she hand-reared earned her the RSPCA Young Photographer ‘People’s Choice’ Award.
Amelia Robinson, 13, was told the news during an assembly at Ferndown Upper School.
In a surprise visit, RSPCA Inspector Graham Hammond presented the schoolgirl with a trophy, certificate and Olympus camera.
Amelia’s photos of family pet Lily, who was rejected by her mother, won nearly 30 per cent of the public vote for 2011.
This year’s competition deadline is Monday May 28.
