Firefighters from Wareham cut free two casualties following a collision on Tuesday evening.
The incident on the A351 Sandford road near the junction of Keysworth Drive around 6.30pm involved two cars with two people trapped.
Firefighters had to remove a garden fence panel, concrete base and five feet of laurel hedge to get to the trapped casualties.
The retained crew stabilised both cars and extricated the two injured people using hydraulic rescue equipment They were taken to hospital.
The removal one of the car roofs was slow due to its position and five litres of oil and water leaked.
