SCHOOL children are being urged to put their artistic talents to good use to win a top prize for their school.

West End show Zambezi Express will perform at a school event for the winner of a competition.

All you have to do is create a design of how you would like Bournemouth Pier to look and what you would like to see on the pier.

Entries can be submitted by individuals or as part of a class project.

Winners will also get the chance to meet Cbeebies star Katy Ashworth who will be appearing at the South West Baby Show taking place next month.

The show is being held at the Heathlands Hotel in Grove Road, Bournemouth from June 22 – 24 and is open from 10am until 5pm on the first two days and from 11am until 4pm on the third. The show will include information and advice, children’s entertainment, shopping and a baby show to be judged in three categories.

Entries for the school competition should be sent by post to JML Events Management at 107, Yarmouth Road, Branksome, Poole, BH12 1LY. Entries should arrive by June 10 and should also include contact details and the name of the school.
