YOU may have already seen Bournemouth-based band Harpin’ On in action. In fact it’s more than likely, due to the band’s busy live gig schedule in Dorset.
With their unique brand of blues, swamp rock and rock, the four-piece band is now going from strength to strength.
You can next see the band at the Bournemouth Tattoo Convention at the O2 Academy Bournemouth, The Green Community Fair in Poole Park, Christchurch Jubilee Festival and the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne.
They are also regulars at the Cellar Bar in Boscombe and at various markets around Dorset organised by The Anonymous Travelling Market.
The bandmembers all have a colourful past and bring years of experience to the band. Little Dave, vocals & harmonica/song writer, has a prolific music career including recording an album with a previous band at Toe Rag Studios in London, which is where The White Stripes recorded.
Harpin' On have just finished recording an album called One Way Trip that they plan to self release on May 28, available through harpin-on.com and iTunes.
