PLACES are filling fast for next month’s popular Race for Life series.
Thousands of women have already pledged their support to the events in Bournemouth and Poole and now organisers are urging others to sign up and help raise much-needed funds for Cancer Research UK.
So far 4,138 places have been filled out of a possible 6,000 for the three Bournemouth races on June 17. The morning event is almost full but there are still places for the afternoon 5km and 10km races.
In Poole, 2,754 places have been taken out of 3,500. The morning event is now at capacity but there are still places for the afternoon 5km race on June 24.
And this year young boys are also invited to take part alongside their mums, aunts and sisters.
