Speedway star Darcy Ward has been found not guilty of sexual assault.
Twice world under-21 champion Ward, 20, of Poole Road, Sturminster Marshall, was alleged to have committed one offence of sexual assault during an encounter with a 17-year-old girl in a Poole hotel room last August.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with one offence of rape and three of sexual assault involving the same girl on the same date.
He was found not guilty by the jury of five women and seven men.
The pair were charged after they and another man went to the Premier Inn in Holes Bay Road after a speedway meeting involving Poole Pirates.
