POLICE are appealing to a driver involved in a serious collision in the Charminster area of Bournemouth to contact them.
Officers would also like to speak to any itnesses following the crash at the junction of Charminster Road and Shelbourne Road at about 2.20pm on Wednesday, April 25, involving a black Smart car and a blue Kawasaki motorcycle.
The injured motorcyclist, a 36-year-old local man, was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital for treatment.
PC Christina Wales of Poole Traffic Unit said: “The motorcyclist’s injuries were more serious than first thought.
“The Smart car stopped at the scene but no details were left by the driver.”
