ATTEMPTS to find a hit-and-run mobility scooter rider who left a woman lying injured on the ground in Christchurch are ongoing.
Despite an appeal for witnesses last week, police are still trying to find the female rider of the scooter.
She knocked a 63-year-old woman to the floor leaving her with injuries to her legs and head in Christchurch High Street.
The incident took place during Monday Market on around 1.50pm on April 30 outside Reynolds butchers’ van.
Police say the woman they want to speak to is about 50 years old, with long blonde hair, of stocky build and was wearing a light coloured jacket.
They issued a picture of a woman they want to interview.
The scooter was dark red.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 101.
