A SOLSTICE run in aid of a Christchurch charity will take place at Moors Valley on Friday, June 15.
The Wessex Autistic Society’s Summer Solstice Run will celebrate the beginning of the British summer with a tropical-themed run.
There will be a new 10k route and a fresh 2k run as well for fun runners.
Participants are encouraged to wear their Hawaiian outfits and celebratory medals will be awarded to all finishers as well as a must-have flower garland accessory for a stylish reminder of the day.
Louise Trott, community and events fundraiser, said: “This is a favourite event of many of our loyal supporters, giving them the opportunity to come out on a summer’s evening and take part in an organised run around the peaceful woodlands of Moors Valley.”
