SHE’S the face of Bournemouth and is heading to Paris to achieve one of her dreams.
Emily Kishere, 21, is set to compete in the first and only beauty pageant at Disneyland Paris from November 18 to 23 this year.
The dancer and model, who said she had always wanted to go to Paris, said she was thoroughly looking forward to performing at the Face of Europe pageant against women from other European countries.
In last year’s competition, the former Face of Kent won the Miss Talent round with her own choreographed routine, which helped her achieve a fourth place in the overall standings, which she said was one of her proudest achievements.
Emily, who is being sponsored by Beautifully Gorgeous hair salon, said she was looking forward to competing again.
She added: “I’m counting down the days until the competition. I’m really excited.
“I’m practising the questions at the moment as they ask a lot of them.
“If I won I would do a car boot sale to sell clothes donated from people to raise cash for charity.
“I think I’ve improved since last year and I’m hopeful of improving on my fourth place from last year.”
Emily, who lives in Bearwood and went to school at St Edwards in Oakdale, is currently a full-time student studying dance at Bournemouth and Poole College.
Emily isn’t the only one in the family to follow this route. Her sister Holly Kishere, formerly Miss Bournemouth, has gone on to model in LA.
Emily also enjoys aerobics and body-combat and said that her dream job would be to teach underprivileged children how to dance, as they may not have the chance to take part in extra-curricular activities.
